Bromley Contingent

The "Bromley Contingent" was a bunch of kids who got terribly excited about the Sex Pistols and would drive in (or down, or up) from Bromely to see their shows. Eventually they started their own band, Siouxsie and the Banshees. They somehow got signed to a record label and recorded an album. Go out and buy a copy of "The Scream"--it's fantastic. Everything else they put out was crappy and pretentious...the purity of The Dickbrains is that they didn't last long enough to learn how to play their instruments and become like that.
