Elizabethtown is a city in Kentucky located about 45 minutes south of Louisville on I-65. The city has been the birthplace and/or home to many members of the Louisville music scene.

Cafe Gecko - The Cafe Gecko was a popular hangout for Elizabethtowns hardcore inhabitants in the mid-90's. Many bands including Endeavor and Texas Is The Reason played here. The cafe was built into the side of a hotel.

The National Guard Armory - Bands like By The Grace Of God and other touring acts played here. The Armory is still holding shows to this day, with Ayin, Ganthet, Breather Resist, Three Nails For A False Prophet (last show) and more from Louisville rocking out there. (see also Help Fest)

The Old Nolin RECC Building - No longer in use

Starks Community Center - Gym where shows can be held at a reasonable price

State Theatre - Much more extravagent place to play in etown, situated downtown. Band can see their names on the Marquee when they play.

This was/is the symbol for E-town hardcore. Basically just a copy of the City of Elizabehtown's logo, the buttons were made by Dylan Chadwick and distributed with his In Low Carb zine. Zenon Garcia from Orange Light Mafia then spray painted the logo on his bass drum, and a slew of kids followed suit.
