In A Heartbeat

From Louisville Punk/Hardcore History

In A Heartbeat is a post-hardcore/indie band out of New Albany, Indiana. They formed in late 2005/early 2006. At first they leaned towards more of a metal side, but soon found out that a little softer, more thoughtful indie music would work out better. Their music still shows some remnants of the more hardcore/metal genre, but would mostly fall into a post-hardcore/indie sound. They consist of six members: John Shelton (Guitar), Boogie Lesse (Bass and Vocals), Caleb Fossee (Guitar), Jake Denham (Drums), Kohl Maetschke (Vocals), and John Cole (Vocals).

They just recently released their first demo. It is entitled, "Don't Get Mad, Darlin". It has four songs on it: "Held At Gunpoint", "Don't Shoot the Messenger", "Move It or Lose It", and "Rain Would Make This Perfect". They play at such places around the Southern Indiana/Louisville scene such as Headliner's and Bulldog Cafe. Check them out on their Myspace Profile - http://www.myspace.com/weareinaheartbeat
