Lexicon:Crooked Edge

Crooked Edge began in direct opposition to the rising popularity of violent sects of people claiming to be straight-edge that perpetrated unprovoked attacks against those who simply did not share their view. I've seen it time and time again, individuals being assaulted for being just that, an individual. This is where we differ. We say do what you will and do not condemn others for their personal choices. If you want to drink, smoke, eat a fucking cheeseburger, whatever....you should be able to do it without being harrassed and looked down upon because of it. If you don't do any of those things, well, that's fine too. We are not against the straight-edge movement in it's pure form, which makes it a choice. We are against the bad seeds of the movement who feel they need to force the issue on others with acts of what is none other than urban terrorism.
