Drug rock, having achieved it's title from the many toxins rocknrollers put in their body while playing or recording to make you have a so called "trip" whilest your listening, has been, for the most part, ignored by the Louisville scene, not because it's not liked, but more so because people who take drugs tend not to care about going out to the so-called 'scene.' Anyway, it is believed that South-Louisville band, Blacklisted, may have been one of the only bands that lived it in this area, thus, it is so ever-present in the music of the Glasspack, with song titles like "Hall of the Mountain Speedlab" and "Jim Beam and Good Green."
