the LML (as it was called) was a phone line that people could call and listen to a voice recording on which was a listing of punk/hardcore shows and other punk events for the week. it was updated every Sunday evening, and was administrated by Maryam Mirriahi. It lasted for about 6 months after becoming too much of a financial drain. It's influence helped keep alive the notion that there needed to be other ways to access show information than just digging through flyers at the local record stores (hence the emergence of show-postings on websites after this).
