Nelligan Hall is located at 2210 Portland Avenue near the 22nd Street exit off I-64. It is in the historic Portland neighborhood of Louisville, not very far from Unique Thrift Store.
Nelligan Hall is located in Louisville's Historic Portland Neighborhood at 2010 Portland Avenue, one block east of the I-64 22nd Street exit (also directly adjacent to the Falls of the Ohio and Shippingport Island). The old North End Social Club is owned by artists Aron Conaway, Hallie Jones, who after 4 years of partial ownership, have bought our their partners, are repairing & transforming this historic social hall into an artists' collective space.  


The first show booked there was booked by [[Jamie Miller]] on January 28 2006 with [[Antikythera]], [[Phlegethon]] and [[Disco]].
In the 1930's the hall served as the local center of the Democratic Party in the machine politics era. It also served as a meeting place for the local neighbors. In the early 20th century,  it was a theater building and hosted Vaudeville Shows.
