Nixon:Farmers Daughters

From Louisville Punk/Hardcore History

"Someday my prince will come on his white, white horse and his stainless smile. Someday my picket fence will go on and on and on andon." Well I never build more bridges than I have matches. And I never touch anything that I can't destroy. Someday I'll write the words of the songs to sing while the ship goes down. Someday I'll forget your name and paint this godless sky with your blood. You and I joined together by the hands at our throats. But we still moved our mouths for hours, just me and the farmer's daughters. And they screamed, "Someone wake us up from our American dreams."
