Each of the Slamdek Record Company's 45 releases (and more) are fully documented with 250 photographs and contributions from over 30 writers. Disc includes unavailable tracks by Rodan, Metroschifter, Jawbox, Endpoint, Sunspring, Crain, and more. Slamdek was a Louisville label from 1986 to 1995, and was known for launching those bands as well as sponsoring a weekly live radio broadcast, a high school girls' field hockey team, and a punk rock festival, among other things.
