Sue Cannon Bailey kicked tail as full-time bassist and part-time vocalist in Covered in Mud and later played with Trim as well, though I was goin' through it at the time and can't comment it was probably good. In Mud she and drummer Laura "Arrot" Hartford were both so nervously amped up that songs always sped up about 20% over the already up tempto practices, as they say, pace of the material that most of it was like Motorhead meets the Nerves. I know she went to studio once with Mud. Don't know where it is.
