A few things I remember from The Brycc House:
- Awesome battle between 3 Nails For A False Prophet and another band, I think it was Comin' Correct. Rick To Life was reportedly busted (ha) masturbating on on the Brycc couches afterwards.
- Having Point To The Doll practice while other volunteers wouldn't leave and go home, prompting us to erect a barrier that also closed off the men's bathroom.
- Smash The Frames art show as well as the annual InFestEd art show. One of the art shows saw a funny controversy regarding a local graffiti artist placing some art in the show without asking... it was on a discarded TARC sign, and several people threw a fucking fit over the use of that surface.
- Avail playing the first big show at the 2nd location, and the ceiling tiles falling on Liz Palmer and myself.
- An absurd group meeting after Jared Manning threw out some jerk-ass. The jerk-ass busted a window on his way out.
- Many, many guys trying to bum change to "get some food" and when offered free food from Food Not Bombs, they turned it down.
- Mike G. powerbombing girls in the small shows room.
- Movie night in the small room.
- Spraying concentrated garlic spray all over Joe Dunman's rump when I barely knew him... and everyone assuring him there would be no vampires the rest of the night.
- Meeting TONS of people that stopped going to shows (or seemed to) as soon as the place closed.
- More bands and shows than I could ever possibly try to remember, but a few that really, really stick out: Murder City Devils, American Nightmare, Bane, Left Out's reunion show, Red Sun's last show, a slew of 3 Nails shows, 3 Inches of Blood/Abscise's last show.
- Lots and lots and lots of really lame drama that made me (as well as others) not want to hang around more.
