what's green day doing on that list? from what i recall there were two shows they were supposed to play before they got big. the first being audobon skatepark to which they've confessed getting drunk and just not showing up. the second was tewligans where their van broke down and after they called the owner sent everyone home and refunded $1 instead of waiting around another hour. nofx & lagwagon played there though. - flaherty

I guess it was just a mistake that someone made... maybe they just remembered seeing a flyer with Green Day on it and wasn't aware of the cancellations. I don't know cos I didn't write it, but it looks like Lee deleted it, so it's "all good" so to speak.--Bryan Volz 20:34, 2 Dec 2005 (EST)

On the "bands to play there" section, should it seriously get into every band someone remembers seeing there? i can't really remember what i had for lunch yesterday, but i could probably list at least 10-20 bands off the top of my head that i saw there... i guess what i'm asking is, what was the intention of this section on the venues pages... on the one hand i'd definately love to be reminded of all the shows i went to that i can't remember at the moment, but on the other hand, there were an ass load of bands that played a lot of these clubs. so what's anyone think? - Dodds

Part of the reasoning for it is to just show what era the venue was around. Other than that, it was just a neat idea when it was started. As far as every band that played there? it'd be nice, but wouldn't really fit the current format. Does anyone have a Machine Cup that they could photograph/scan and put up here? i always wanted one of those things... - Bryan Volz

GreenDay never played at The Machine. They were to play Tewligans but had van problems. I might be wrong but I think Agent Orange played the show instead. -HarPoon Tang
