from what I hear, the Slow Suicide's first and only performance at the venue was nothing short of hilarious, with Shawn Severs getting up to talk before their set about how he used to live in the apartments next door and the church leaders used to run him off for skating and listening to "the devil's music", church goers would beat the shit out of him, and the church funded some shitty stuff. He was especially angry because they were now starting the place to use the music they once gave him shit about to indoctrinate the youth of the area. The 'suicide was not asked back. - Bryan Volz.
