In the early 80's, downtown on Main St. across from the Mercury Paw (same street Sparks was on). It was a bar so all the shows were age restricted. Kids were still about to sneak in through missing planks in a wooden fence that surrounded the 'beer garden' thing. From what I've read about it underage girls that would sneak in would usually be allowed to stay but the boys would be kicked out. So the guys started dressing in drag to be able to stay and see the bands. Interesting.
It has 'New Wave' nights and all that jazz but didn't stay open for too long. A few months I beleive.
Then it turned into Zena's Steakhouse. yummy.
