Truce:Better Left Unsaid

From Louisville Punk/Hardcore History

In a time when words are knives, it's hard to crack a smile. The intentions of your lies are to break us down inside. How can I just sit back and let you ruin our name? There is hatred in your eyes but our goals remain unchanged. Every lie is like a knife in my back. Can I take back my pride? I have the strngth to stand against your ignorance. This is not for you. This is how I want to live my life. When I see what you have done, I struggle to hold my tongue. This has gone on for too long, but I know that we are strong. You try to drown us out, but our voices are not weak. With one common goals, our voices unite to speak. How can I stand up straight under the weight of your lies? You've tried to destroy what i hold dear to me. You try to destroy the truth and everything that we believe. When the tide is turned, I will look you in the eyes. I will learn the truth and I will go on with my life. My life is not lived for you. I owe your nothing. Though your knide is still in my back, I won't fall victim. As your lies tear away, tension builds up inside. But I've come to realize that there are things better left unsaid.
