The compilation, featuring seventeen covers of the Louisville, Kentucky heavy metal band Kinghorse, would be curated as a benefit release for [[Jason Noble]] ([[Rodan]], [[Shipping News]], etc.) who had been battling a rare form of cancer at the time.
 
*While no performers are directly credited, [[Stonecutters]] would confirm in an interview that their cover of "Red" was recorded in the same sessions as their 2009 album [[Christhammer]], featuring [[Adam Neal]] and [[Jason Revenant]] as guest vocalists.

  • RISE: A Tribute to Kinghorse (Full Title: RISE: A Louisville Lip Tribute to Kinghorse) is a tribute album produced by Louisville Lip Records and released in 2010. The compilation, featuring seventeen covers of the Louisville, Kentucky heavy metal band Kinghorse, would be curated as a benefit release for Jason Noble (Rodan, Shipping News, etc.) who had been battling a rare form of cancer at the time.
