'''Memorable Memories:'''
*Meeting Josh and Dylan pretty much for the first time (although I kinda met them when they ran into Ukiah's wedding wearing backpacks and dirty-ass clothes after the ceremony started, thereby causing EVERYONE to stare at them), anyway meeting them for real for the first time in front of Second Step shoes on Bardstown Road for our first "band meeting" which lasted like 15 minutes before someone's mom came to pick the kids up.
*Leaving the first few practices in near-total frustration after busting out chalk and a blackboard to write out a music scale and trying to explain 4/4 time, 3/4 time, whole, half, quarter, and sixteeth notes, and giving up and saying "Josh.. just play as fast as you fucking can."
*Timing the music to howmany times sasha sang (thereby making audible vocals a necessity) due to lack of counting measures.
*Playing a CRAZY show in some creepy guy's basement with 2 Lexington bands (Pronounce Me Dead and Joe's old band whose name I can't remember), and to our suprise everyone loving the hell out of it even though during the set I went nuts, jumped up, fell down right into the furnace, denting the hell out of it after denting the hell out of Dylan. Me being elated because of new friends, and confused because the girl I was seeing broke up with her boyfriend that day. A year later the creepy guy who owned the house was jailed for child molestation.
*A week or two later playing in Lexington, and almost everyone in both Lexington bands we had played with charging the mic during "No Gods, No Masters, Dance Faster!", leaving Sasha running for his life after not knowing how to deal with a sing-a-long. My dumb ass spent the entire rest of the show out in the car confessing my "undying" love for a girl, thereby missing 3 Nails, the other 5 bands, and 200 North's last set EVER. Dumb.
*Being extremely dissapointed in Dylan because he didn't show up to Sasha's going away party (which was also the DVD release party). Sasha had like 50 something friends show up at Pita Delights (much to Kurt & the owner's somewhat-dismay), and several douchebags trying to get out of paying for their meals - which had to come out of Sasha's pocket. Free DVDs, free good times at shows, free friendship, free moustache rides, and he still had to pay for them. *sigh*
*Being asked to do a reunion show in January 2005, and probably not wanting to do it because of memories of the aforementioned girl. Dumb. - [[Bryan Volz]]

I think the band did break up before that place opened, so I edited the part of the entry that said we did. - Bumpasaurus Rex

Memorable Memories:

  • Meeting Josh and Dylan pretty much for the first time (although I kinda met them when they ran into Ukiah's wedding wearing backpacks and dirty-ass clothes after the ceremony started, thereby causing EVERYONE to stare at them), anyway meeting them for real for the first time in front of Second Step shoes on Bardstown Road for our first "band meeting" which lasted like 15 minutes before someone's mom came to pick the kids up.
  • Leaving the first few practices in near-total frustration after busting out chalk and a blackboard to write out a music scale and trying to explain 4/4 time, 3/4 time, whole, half, quarter, and sixteeth notes, and giving up and saying "Josh.. just play as fast as you fucking can."
  • Timing the music to howmany times sasha sang (thereby making audible vocals a necessity) due to lack of counting measures.
  • Playing a CRAZY show in some creepy guy's basement with 2 Lexington bands (Pronounce Me Dead and Joe's old band whose name I can't remember), and to our suprise everyone loving the hell out of it even though during the set I went nuts, jumped up, fell down right into the furnace, denting the hell out of it after denting the hell out of Dylan. Me being elated because of new friends, and confused because the girl I was seeing broke up with her boyfriend that day. A year later the creepy guy who owned the house was jailed for child molestation.
  • A week or two later playing in Lexington, and almost everyone in both Lexington bands we had played with charging the mic during "No Gods, No Masters, Dance Faster!", leaving Sasha running for his life after not knowing how to deal with a sing-a-long. My dumb ass spent the entire rest of the show out in the car confessing my "undying" love for a girl, thereby missing 3 Nails, the other 5 bands, and 200 North's last set EVER. Dumb.
