The Guvnors was formed in 1999 by the only 4 Louisville kids (at the time) with an appreciation of streetpunk, specifically the melodic stuff coming out of France and Germany at the time. They had three or four practices, got together a handfull of songs, but never went anywhere. John Anger is somewhere in the US programming, Brent Erwin swabs the decks of the mighty Belle of Louisville, Seth Edwards works in IT in Louisville, and Mike Ley goes to school in Bloomington. Honrable mention goes to John for dropping his bass amp down the stairs and putting a huge hole in the wall during the last practice at Mike's house. | The Guvnors was formed in 1999 by the only 4 Louisville kids (at the time) with an appreciation of streetpunk, specifically the melodic stuff coming out of France and Germany at the time.
