Home Skateshop was started in the mid-90s (95?) in conjunction with [[Us Vs. Them]] records on Baxter Ave. Owned by local skater and skate-park activist Sean Fawbush, it eventually moved around 2000 to it's present location on [[Bardstown Road]] inbetween Bonnycastle Ave. & Eastern Parkway. It was sold to a new owner,professional skateboarder Thom Hornung, yet continues to prosper thanks to a broadened interest in skating.
