I wanted to start a grind band, and posted about it in my online journal sometime around April 2004. Adam had mentioned in a comment he had left on there about being interested in it. Cullen and I had always talked about starting a band that sounded similar to the Locust but having some heavy parts too. Matt, Spencer, and I had been hanging out, skating and listening to Church of Misery around these times. Thus, the Sweetness was born. We had 4 practices and 4 songs and played its first (and only) show within the first month of being a band. Our only show was on Friday May 28th, 2004 with the Holy Mountain and Forensics, we played for 12 minutes, during a tornado, inside of St John's church. After the show Brent Eyestone asked to put out a 7" for us on Magic Bullet, but we "broke up" a few days later as Adam and Cory were busy with Kodan Armada and Matt was going on tour with Coliseum. | |||

I wanted to start a grind band, and posted about it in my online journal sometime around April 2004. Adam had mentioned in a comment he had left on there about being interested in it.
