Brother of Josh Giralico and Michelle Giralico and step-cousin of Anthony Leo.
Better known under the messageboard handle shivelycore (at one point shivelycore King Of Hardcore), gained quite a nasty reputation for shit talking on the old Planet Louisville Parking Lot. Eventually realized he couldnt fight all of his friend's battles for them constantly.
Musical involvements first started with several failed attempts at bands that never left garages. Was at one point an "honorary" member of the South-End trio *SNOiT as a roadie and back up vocalist. Eventually struck out on his own by being a replacement bassist in *The Megalomaniacs and then later *Sister Helen Prejudice. The most "high profile" stint in a band was with *Three Nails For A False Prophet.
Using his time in the punk and hardcore scenes to increase his political awareness, eventually spent time assisting Anti Racist Action, The Young Communist League, and to a very small degree BRAT magazine. Unfortunately of late his greatest political "contributions" are merely ranting in his livejournal about random things in the news.
Tried his hand at promoting shows for a short while. Though found out the political holes he had dug himself by running his mouth prevented him from being of much assistance to the bands he was trying to bring in. The last show he booked was the pre-krazyfest debauchle in 2003 that saw 5 of 8 bands cancel within 24 hours of the show.
After a few years idle, Mike was appraoched to for a band with Lee Fetzer and Jamie Miller. This would become *Jack A Dull Boy which would later combine with *Redhanded to form *Brother Doubt. Brother Doubt had a short run of wacky shows which ended in 2010. As Brother Doubt suffered it's demise *Bush League recruited Mike to play bass for their reformation. He is also currently working on a side project which has him on vocals and not bass.
