Liz Palmer moved to Louisville at age 19 in 1995. She was the founding editor of [[Brat Magazine]], then started the independent political bookstore [[Verbivore]], then was a founder of the original [[The Brycc House]]. She was involved in numerous human rights issues and took on organizing the Southern Girls Convention and the PAZ (Permanent Autonomous Zones) Conference. She worked as a local writer and graphic designer while finishing her degree. | |||
