Largely performing in indie rock groups with a hint of punk, he's a multi-instrumentalist who's performed in several Louisville bands since the 1990s. In the early 2000s he had a solo project known as "The Chocobots". As of 2013 he began performing solo with a backing band (New Bravado) known as "Ten Wet Dollars" until 2018. Since then he's performed completely solo, initially acoustic and later with electric guitar and pedals.
