*Since I can't figure out how to edit LLC's history I'm going to do *it here. Brett Holsclaw (BH) played his last show w/ the Glasspack *@ St Andrew's Pub. Jeremiah Cunningham (JC) played bass for that *show, at the end of which he trashed his bass on stage, seemingly *retireing from music for 8 months. BH started playing with Joe *Manning (JM) a couple of months prior to the Glasspack/St. *Andrew's debacle. He approached BH at 2005's Forecastle. BH *accepted the offer and Leota was born (more about that later). | |||
*BH and Thomas Brown (TB) came together December, 9th, 2005 to open the first "Acoustic Love" show w/Tara Jane O'Niel (TJO) and JM. We *played 3 clawsome tunes! TB played harmonica. It was great! Then on *New Year's Eve 2005, TB asked BH to DJ a party his friends were *having. When BH showed up for the gig, he was blessed to meet *Marisa Barnes (MB) and James Vaughn (JV). These 2 were hosting all *the fun! BH set up in their music room (a practice room filled with *instruments) started spinning a lot of funk. | |||
*Then in February, TB called BH to put a band together to open for *Tiger Saw from Boston at the Rudyard Kipling. they recruited JV and *MB for cello and violin. Justin Davis (JD) joined up to play *upright bass. And Evan Pouchak (EP) came aboard for drums and *arrangements. They played w/ Faun Fables on May 14th, 2005 at *Nelligan Hall! This would be JD's last show w/ LLC. He decided to *concentrate his bass skills on his other band, Second Story Man *(SSM). | |||
