The Bardstown Road Legion Post 201 Hall at 2800 Bardstown Road (just down & across from Krispy Kreme) saw decades of sporadic punk/hardcore shows.

As of 2008, the status was 'closed' insofar as shows are concerned due to numerous incidents of kids writing on walls, banging on the doors to the Veteran's bar downstairs, breaking things, trashing the place, etc. The Legion was, up until the late 80s/early 90s a very bustling location particularly on the weekends, filling out the back gymnasium/hall with Vets, their families, and friends. As those crowds diminished, more shows like Avail and the Get Up Kids could take over back there, and later on smaller shows like Redhanded in the main building's front room or upstairs areas. While the Legion needed the money, shows didn't start up again after the 2008/2010 era, leading to the property being sold in 2016 to Assumption High School. Assumption tore down the log-cabin style main structure to facilitate parking. The gym building is still there (as of 2024) but only sees school usage.
