The Last Saturday show series put on by Auxiliary was thought up in late 2005 by Evan Patterson and David Brooks. They, along with Ryan Patterson sought to plan a certain date every month to have a large show, hoping to expose more and more people to the bands of the Louisville area. The shows frequently have above-average promotion complete with tickets and posters that are sometimes screenprinted. More information can be obtained from http://www.lastsaturday.net/
