Kangaroo was formed in 2005, initially as a continuation of the defunct Stop Motion. Broke up in 2007, prompted by the departure of bassist Trip Barriger.
Members of Kangaroo are or have been involved in many other bands including Stop Motion, Vo La Tik, Hotel Roy, The Broken Rhythm, Squijit (later Sequoya), Nowhere Fast, Spite 36, and G'Noggin.
