Discard was a pre-Blue Collar Revenge Theory grouping of Tony Ash and Jeff Brinkworth that was around for a brief while in 1996-1997. Along with a mutual friend, drummer and KISS Army member Daniel Elliott, this short-lived trio managed to play a single show at Primizee's with The Megalomaniacs and Left Out. Highlights of this particular show included: the drumset literally falling to pieces during the set, and the totally awesome Van Halen-red "Celebrity" guitar Tony rented from Doo Wop Shop specifically for this show, being that he did not yet own a guitar.
After Daniel left, the band went through a few different incarnations that never left the basement, before eventually becoming Blue Collar Revenge Theory in summer 1998.
- Tony Ash - guitar
- Jeff Brinkworth - bass, vocals
- Daniel Elliott - drums
