Charlie's was the place in the mid to late 80s for pizza and punk. Located on Bardstown Road right before the corner of Highland Ave it was famous for peanutbutter pizza. (where Jack Fry's is now), the venue hosted a mess of bands as well as occasionally sleeping quarters for some punks. Apparently, the owner was a great guy.
