Initial's Logo

Initial Records was formed in the mid 1990s by label owner Andy Rich while he was in college in Michigan. Until he graduated, the label was run out of his dorm room. Upon moving to Louisville, the label greatly expanded, had their legendary band roster sign stolen, started Krazy Fest, and many other things.

The label folded in late 2004 immediately after releasing the last By The Grace Of God CD, and after Ryan resigned his label manager position to concentrate on touring with his bands, Auxiliary, and numerous freelance design gigs.
