Armando's Palace was formerly the Bard Theater on Bardstown Road, just north of Taylorsville Road. Conceived as a night club - several pretty big (at the time) bands like Katrina and the Waves and Uriah Heap played there as well as some local acts like[[The Blinders]], [[The Intentions]], and [[ModernHeirs]]. Like most everything else in this city, it was torn down.
