Xerxes is a hardcore punk band from Louisville that is made up of ex-members of A Fourth Grade Love Affair, Cellophane Babies, Render Me Useless, and Pitching Tents. Some of the members also play in King Jr. The message that can be found in most of their songs are usually about living life independently and gaining happiness from more simple things such as friendship, community, and activity.
