Taken by the Sea, or TBTS, started in early 2007 as Ignite the Ashes by guitarist Billy Renck, vocalist Alicia Dosset, & drummer Dustin Pittman. A few weeks later guitarist Tim Mobley & vocalist George Gottler were added to the lineup. In July 2007 bassist Scott Holston & Zack Macaione joined round out the bass-less & newly drummer-less lineup. In September 2007 vocalist George Gottler was let go leaving screaming duties to Tim. In October 2007 vocalist Alicia Dosset was let-go in the midst of a change of style. As Tim tired of lead vocals, Jimmy Portella was added to get the job done. In February 2008 Brian Cole was added as second vocalist. | |||
