Aslan's How was a small art gallery at the corner of Bardstown Road and Richard Ave. that held shows throughout late 2002 and early to mid 2003. Owned by some church, it allowed bands of pretty much any genre to play there, despite what their religious affiliations or beliefs were.
The venue was shut down by the fire marshall after the Great White pyrotechnics disaster in early 2003. The storefront did not have enough exits, a wheelchair access ramp, or the capacity for the number of people that were coming. They stopped having shows, and as that had turned to be their main source of income, they had to shut their doors.
