The place closed in 2001 after shows were heavily curtailed due to the neighbors and kids not wanting to go anymore after a group of Nazis starting showing up to select shows. The business was loosing money, and the rent was going up as more and more of the area was becoming increasinly gentrified and  complaints and police visits mounted. Also contributing to the demise was the opening of [[The Brycc House]], which became a much preferrable place to see shows.

Pandamonium (spelled wrong on purpose) started in early 1999 as a arcade and internet gaming site on Bardstown Road across from the army surplus store that has been there since the dawn of time. After a few months, punks and hardcore kids started contacting the place to have shows there, and it didn't take long for the place to realize it was easier to make money off of shows than just video games.

The first show there was with The Revenants and Skam Impaired, with The Vagrants playing the second... but soon hardcore or more usually metal "core" bands started kicking out the jams there as well, with the Armbar riot happening there.
