The Bardstown Road Legion Hall at 2800 Bardstown Road (just down from Krispy Kreme) has seen punk/hardcore shows off and on for a long time.
It's current status is closed insofar as shows are concerned due to numerous incidents of kids writing on walls, banging on the doors to the Veteran's bar downstairs, breaking things, trashing the place, etc. But if history (and the Legion's lack of income) have anything to do with it, they'll probably try having shows again in a year or two.
