Picking up where heaps of broken equipment and friendships past left off, In Tongues started in the late summer of 2004 after lots of worry and doubt during and after the final breath of Louisville noisemakers Kodan Armada. Drummer Travis Lloyd and guitarist Adam Rains met briefly to write and record one song before adding bassist Cory Popp. Between sporadic, intense 12 hour days during any time available, the band was able to turn out a four song demo written and recorded in two days. Finally culminating upon Travis's arrival back to the bluegrass state, the band was able to write more material for an upcoming split with Lords and a full length on Hyperrealist records.
