The Machine was a venue located in St. Matthews in the east end of Louisville during the early/mid 90s. The venue was crafted out of the remains of a lazer tag facility, and was quite large. It had formerly been known as CD Graffiti's. Weekly shows brought in kids from all over the area, and the parking lot was frequently teeming with kids, much to local residents dismay (St. Matthews has a bunch of stuck up older folks). When the venue closed, St. Matthews enacted strict ordinances to ban that kind of place popping up ever again.
