Pandamonium (spelled wrong on purpose) started in early 1999 as a arcade and internet gaming site on Bardstown Road across from the army surplus store that has been there since the dawn of time. After a few months, punks and hardcore kids started contacting the place to have shows there, and it didn't take long for the place to realize it was easier to make money off of shows than just video games.

The first show there was with Skam Impaired and The Lynnwoods, with The Revenants and The Vagrants playing the second... but soon hardcore or more usually metal "core" bands started kicking out the jams there as well, with the Armbar riot happening there.

Pandamonium closed in 2001 due to neighborhood complaints as well as financial restraints caused by increased rent as more of the area was becoming increasingly gentrified. The complaints and police visits became more and more frequent and the result was a deterioration of crowds. Also contributing to the demise was the opening of The Brycc House, which became an alternate place to see all-aged shows in the Highlands neighborhood.
