The Cherokee was located on Bardstown road in the middle of the long block between Grinstead Drive and Highland Ave. during the early to mid 90s. The Cherokee used to be called Tewligans and eventually became Cahoots, continuing a long tradition of local music on the block until the late 2010s with Club Nirvana and the space becoming vacant.
