WXBH is the low-power FM radio station run by The Brick House. The original FCC application was filed in 2000 by volunteers at The Brycc House and the construction permit was granted in April of 2005. Current volunteers plan to have the station on the air by summer of 2006, but first they have to raise approximately $70,000.

Velocity Weekly published an article about WXBH on December 6 2005. Since the link will probably die within a few weeks, here are some excerpts:

"Jamie Miller wishes that he could click on the radio and hear a commercial-free station that blasts music from local artists and lets everyday citizens sound off about the issues that are keeping them up at night. ...

"'We would like to see local news on our station beyond the 30-second clips that you get on other local radio stations,' Miller said. 'We'd like to do a lot of in-depth reporting. We would also like to really highlight local music of all genres.' ...

"Miller believes Brick House Radio will attract a wide range of listeners and participants, from music lovers who want to hear more jazz, underground hip-hop or hardcore metal, to leftists with political opinions to get off their chests. ...

"'I'm sure the music will be incredibly eclectic,' Miller said. 'I think the talk radio will be the same.'"

As you can see, the article focuses way too much on Miller and not on the other participants.
