Lions was formed in late 2000 by Matt Wieder and Matt Brown of The Enkindels. The band had a very heavy Brit-rock influence. Lions played a handfull of shows all over 21. A demo was started but the band broke up before it's completion. In true Rock-n-Roll fashion one of their last shows featured an onstage argument between band members that resulted in a smashed Les Paul and near fistacuffs. The core of this band minus Matt Wieder went on to become Carolina
