Talk:540
You know I should just let it slide, but I'm tired of having to set this story straight with people on what happened with the 540.
Mike did know that the article was going to run in the Courier. He called me the night before it ran to ask if it was o.k. I told him no. I explained that we where not able to afford the permits needed to be a legal venue at that point in time. He was informed that you do not advertise an illegal club in a paper. It was not Mike's fault that we had yet to gather enough money for the permits. That blame is our's and we accept it. But had he bothered to show up to the meeting we had to prepare for 540fest (which he was invited to,) maybe this would'nt have fell apart the way it did. My whole point is, Mike knew about the article that was to run in the Courier, he was told why said article was not o.k., and he knew we had yet to secure the necessary permits.
