THE WHOLIGANS Where to start on this hazy journey of punk music? Picture this hombres spring 2002 with 4 people all with one thing in common destruction! When we first started the band it was more geared towards hardcore punk, fast with some breakdowns if you will. I (tony wholigan) played bass at the time and brent slang a mean guitar, derek (lurch) play drums and jamey wholigan sang. We played some shows some in Madison IN (w/ the great Skrum and someother local bands there)some here in louisville and some out in the county where we are from. Over the years we've played with a lot of bands and have 2 albums out and a live tape floating around. The two albums and live stuff is pretty much out entire discography short of a few newer ones we have and some covers floatin around out there. Over the years there have been some member changes we lost derek and brent which prompted me to move to drums and jamey to pick up the guitar slack and we picked up dustin who also recorded our two albums and played bass on the second helluva musician. In this time during the member changes the sound of the music has changed to a more old skool hardcore/pop punk with some very disgusting subject matter. Come see us because we dont wanna have to come see you! members: tony wholigan-drums jamey wholigan-throat/gits dusin-bass/backups
