from the Noise Pollution website:

After Red Sun broke up in June 2000, Nathan Smallwood and Brian Foor continued jamming together with
the intent to form a new band. Shawn Severs joined up to try out on vocals shortly thereafter. In
the fall of 2000, Nate and Brian put together rough demos of five songs on a four track. Three of
these songs were Red Sun songs that had been carried over. The other two were new songs they had
written and are available here. The band never got off the ground and split up in January 2001. Nate
played guitar and bass on these recordings while Foor played drums. Although never the official name
of the band, Severs often referred to the project as The Blanket Party and so it is called here.
