The Moths
From Louisville Punk/Hardcore History

Rising out of the shattered glass of Fuck the Android, the Moths existed circa 1998-1999. Their sound was similiar to bands like the Monorchid, the Screamers, and the Cranium. The best story around them was their elusive 7" on pink vinyl that Matt Capozzoli yelled at Ed Lutz about when he was trying to close Ground Zero for the night. "Kevin said you had it behind the counter!" It didn't (and doesn't) exist.
"KNEE CAP SHOULDER BLADE" - TO ALL OF THOSE WHO MAY HAVE WITNESSED HISTORY, I WOULD LIKE TO INFORM YOU THAT YOU DID. THIS WAS WAY BETTER THAN ANYTHING JOHN COOK MAY HAVE PRODUCED WITH CRAIN. THE SHIPPING NEWS WANTED TO BE US IN A NON ADMIRING WAY. RODAN WAS A STEPPING STONE THAT WE WALKED ON; DROP THE CELLO TRY A RIFF. IF YOU EVER WANTED TO SEE NON-MEDIOCRITY, YOU WERE WITH US. IF YOU WANTED TO TASTE A LIGHTENING BOLT ON THE HIP OF A RAINBOW WITHIN A SOCIAL TERROR THAT WAS AS OFFENSIVE AS SPAM, YOU WITNESSED HISTORY!!!!! WE ARE THE WORLD, WE ARE THE CHILDREN, WE ARE THE ONE AND ONLY BAND THAT MADE YOU FORGET HOW THE "VILLE" WAS A SHITPOOL OF HAIRGEL AND HARDCORE. MY LITTLE DEVIL ON MY SHOULDER TOLD ME TO LISTEN TO THE ANGEL ON MY OTHER SHOULDER AND HE SAID "LONG LIVE THE MOTHS, LONG LIVE THE MOTHS, LONG LIVE THE LIFE OF THE PARTY." HE WAS ACCURATE IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE..........................................................................................................................ICY ICY ICY I SEE WHY I SEE WHY ICY ICY ICY I SEE WHY
