Nelligan Hall is located in Louisville's Historic Portland Neighborhood at 2010 Portland Avenue, one block east of the I-64 22nd Street exit (also directly adjacent to the Falls of the Ohio and Shippingport Island). The old North End Social Club is owned by artists Aron Conaway, Hallie Jones, who after 4 years of partial ownership, have bought our their partners, are repairing & transforming this historic social hall into an artists' collective space.

The Hall used to be the center of the Democratic machine in Louisville and served as a meeting place for the local neighbors. In the early 20th century, it was a theater building and hosted Vaudeville Shows.
