Pig Vomit was started as a joke cover band back in 2004. It was a Hatebreed cover band along with some Martyr AD and Black My Heart covers. Pig Vomit was never taken seriously till their revamp in 2007. After practicing for a few times, they had their first show back together as a new, fully original group. They soon set out to embark on to a journey to become the biggest metal band in Louisville and had a paying audience every show. *FOR THEIR TIME* Always self promoted and promoted well. They went to whatever extents to have people KNOW about their shows. They were a party group that loved getting South-Ended and into bar fights. They had a weird, yet funny passion for joking on Nascar and everything about it. With songs such as "Left Turns Only." Also, carrying out a eagle head out their first show back, Pig Vomit had fun doing what they did but they took music very seriously. Although they named many songs after serious situations with ridiculous names; mostly all inside jokes. Influenced by At The Gates, The Black Dahlia Murder, Prayer For Cleansing, Origin, Between The Buried and Me, As Hope Dies, Aborted Babies, Grey Goose Bottles, Potheads & Jesus Taking Anal. In a nutshell, we just loved playing music and the party that followed. Most people in the scene at any time has been to the Vomit House and had a bitchin time. Played house shows and parties along with Bitchin ass shows.
