Scott (aka K. Scott) Ritcher formerly had a huge involvement in the scene, mostly through his Slamdek record label (a full account of which is available in his book, Slamdek A To Z), as well as playing in several high-profile bands that have toured internationally. He also was the host for Sell Out Louisville Style, a weekly radio show in 94-95 that showcased punk, hardcore, and indie rock from the world over.

In 1998, he started an unsuccessful campaign for mayor, moving to Portland, OR not long after the race was over.

After stints living out of town, he now resides in Louisville again, and still runs K Composite.
