If I remember correctly, they used an anvil for extra percussion at a show at Sparks once. It fit in perfectly with their Communist Hardcore image.

Founded by Ted Palmer in 1993, Union (originally Lighthouse) played varous venues and festivals throughout Louisville, and regularly played with Falling Forward in Bloomington, Indiana in the early 1990's. The first time the original members stepped into a room together (Dylan's basement(), the event was recorded and released as "Hausenfeffer II: Gloop Time". 10 copies were made and sold to unsuspecting youngsters at the Zodiac. Ted left the band in 1995 to pursue other isterest, and Gary Bell stepped in.
